Each IP Office user is able to have up to 100 personal directory records, up to the IP Office system limit.
| • | IP500: 10800 total records. |
| • | IP412: 3600 total records. |
| • | IP406 V2: 1900 total records. |
For pre-IP Office 5.0 system, a user's personal directory was only usable from T3 Series phones. For IP Office 5.0+, a user's personal directory is also useable from 1608 and 1616 phones.
The user can view these records and use them to make calls when they are using a 1608, 1616 or T3 Series phone. In addition, on 1608 or 1616 phone, the user can edit their personal directory records.

When the user hot desks to another T3 or 1600 Series phone, their personal directory entries become accessible through the new phone. IP Office 5.0 also allow the user who hot desks to another IP Office in the Small Community Network to still use their personal directory.
The user personal directory entries can be entered and edited using IP Office Manager. This is done through the User | Personal Directory menu.
